Lane (County) Inter-Christian Guild of Home Teachers (L.I.G.H.T.) 
is a Christian co-op of Homeschooling families which believes that the God of the Bible is the only true God and that our salvation rests on the only begotten Son of God, Jesus Christ, who is God, who died on the cross for all mankind, was raised in the flesh and ascended to sit at the right hand of God. 


Our purpose: is to help all interested Christian families educate and raise godly children through home education. 

Official Policy Statement: LIGHT is a Christian homeschooling organization which consists of a large group of people representing a broad spectrum of opinions, methods and philosophies. The views, ideas and methods taught or voiced by our speakers and authors may or may not be in agreement with what we as individuals believe. LIGHT as an organization does not endorse any one view or opinion. Attendees and persons may considerately express their concerns, comments and differing ideas immediately following the speaker’s presentation during the question and answer time. Later reflections are welcome in the Beacon as signed letters to the editor of 250 words or less.
