 Christian Homeschool Co-op (LaneCH)
LaneCH is not a part of LIGHT.
LaneCH is happily growing as the word has spread that we are are a Christian homeschool co-op. The value of some good christian friends for your children is immeasurable, as we all know! It's good for parents too!
LaneCH is not just a co-op for children-type events. Parents benefit even more! Share your joys and frustrations, share great finds, share hints and tips, ask questions, tell others of free or nearly free homeschool helps/events/info, parent-type events, co-op classes, you name it! United we are stronger- and more informed!
You are welcome to attend one or two events without "joining" the group. We have no fees for members, except for the stipulation that we do want our co-op members to be active and agree to our statement of faith.
Among all of our events, our most popular are the playgroup events. They usually are on Fridays 12 noon - 2:00 p.m. at a designated park location during the summer.
During the rainy months we meet at a local indoor playground on Fridays. We also meet twice a month on Wednesday for open gym playtime at National Academy Artistic Gymnastics.
We have had coop classes like Five In A Row group, Apologia Elementary Science group, Latin group, Art, Considering God's Creation, Sign Language and more.
These are all part of LaneCH and all attendees must be LaneCH members. There is a strict registration deadline of August 31st every year for classes, but there are many other activities, as mentioned, and more all year long. If you missed the class deadline, apply for membership anyway and enjoy the many other wonderful blessings that being a part of LaneCH entails!
LIGHT membership is not required, but highly recommended.
